Students start by talking about their weekend to get into a past-tense mindset. Then they watch a video on how to pronounce those tricky -ed endings. After that, they match verbs to flashcards and practice saying them out loud. Finally, they dive into a playful "Tales Game," where each group gets a themed setting and creates their own little past-tense story using the verbs they've learned.

Students kick things off by brainstorming words that end in "-tion." Then they watch a short video to nail down the pronunciation. After that, they do a listening activity with a worksheet (available in three levels), filling in the "-tion" words they hear. They get creative with a quick role-play skit using those words and finally they tackle a tongue twister and finish with a fun T-I-O-N power chant.

Students brainstorm all the chocolate-related words they can think of and then watch the first part of a video explaining how to pronounce "chocolate." After that, they play a fun "I went shopping" game, adding chocolatey items as they go around the room. They watch the rest of the video, which shows how to make Rocky Road, and finally, they get hands-on and make their own Rocky Road treat as a class or in groups.
